The Midi Interface is based on the Midibox Hardware Platform of
Thorsten Klose. A
DOUT and a AOUT
module are connected
to a PIC18f452 µC CORE.
The DOUT module generates a ~1ms pulse when a note is received. This pulse triggers the Instrument.
The velocity will be converted to a voltage for the accent by the AOUT module. There are 8 individual
accents so the Toms, the Rim/Clave and the Cowbell are sharing one.
